BIO
Saif is a designer based in Bangalore. Completed his training as an Architect from RV School of Architecture in 2010, parallely he was active in Formula SAE-Racing of the mechanical department, where he acquired the diverse experience in design and technical know-how. Did his internship at D+A Architects. Later he went on to learn wood working.
His designs draw heavily from his appreciation of technology and processes. His experience from racing which puts him in a very unique place, is often revisited in his architecture and design. From a very young age he is into making things with whatever he could lay his hands on. With his fascination for geometry, his design is characterized by strong shapes, that render a certain formal rigor to visual and functional attributes.
He is involved in regular lecturers and talks at design schools.
Apart from being an avid motorcyclist and an aficionado of cafe racers, is into boxing and pursues his culinary interests. He has vested interest in sociology, philosophy and anthropology, which addresses his design process.
